Water hyacinth is undoubtedly an environmental problem due to its invasiveness, but it also has some promising futures. It might be preferable consider the specific attributes of each environment where plant grows. When there are facilities available fully utilize this plant's potential, efforts should focused on maximizing growth. been shown that secondary metabolites, such as phenolic and anti-oxidant components, play a crucial role in chemical defenses plants against invaded microscopic organisms. This test was conducted analyze whether Eichhornia crassipes leaves contained antioxidants or hepatoprotectant. The ethyl acetate-fractionated hydroethanolic extract used for analysis. Using Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometer (GC-MS), High-Pressure Liquid Chromatography, bioactive components acetate fraction E. (Mart.) Solms were analyzed. GC-MS analysis revealed presence phytol, constituent essential hepatoprotection. human body needs phytol benefits. Phytol may considered potential new drug treatment hepatic dysfunction. numerous substances found traditional medicine can treat several ailments. majority people follow medicine, which contains derived from medicinal plants, practiced. Therefore, research into these necessary better understand their characteristics, safety, effectiveness. Hence, present work aimed evaluate protective efficacy leaf fluoride-induced toxicity.
